Are you feeling tired lately? Tired of the virus, tired of politics, or just plain tired? We are walking through an energetic storm at this time. It’s exhausting!
Imagine walking through a physical storm. The rain is pounding down on you, the howling wind makes every step a chore. You can only see a few feet in front of you. The current climate of fear, division, and judgment is energetically draining. And it’s constant.
As you journey through this time, please take care of yourself. Here are a few suggestions for self-care during an energetic blizzard:
First, honor the weather. Let yourself slow down. Get less done. Instead, make time for rest. Notice that rest is incredibly productive. You may find this freeing.
Second, be nice to your body, not just with good food and water, but with your thoughts. One of the most toxic vibrations we can run is body judgement. You are your body’s creator. Your judgment is its worst pain and your love is its greatest gift. If you run thoughts about how it’s too big here or not big enough there, please stop.
Third, come in out of the rain. Go within to tend your own inner landscape of energy, thought, and emotion. Energy management skills are your boots, raincoat, and umbrella in the storm. Get grounded, clear your space, and seal your aura. Proactively manage your vibration. If you’re not sure how to do this, please check out our free Meditation For Living program and the many guided meditations available for free on our site.
Fourth, remember the bigger picture. In the evening, go outside and say hello to the stars and the vastness of the universe. Notice that this is an expression of the vastness of consciousness. There’s so much more going on here in this incarnation than meets the physical eye.
And fifth, give. Notice how you can help someone else. Perhaps you can run an errand, initiate a phone call, or send healing light. Being of service to another is one of the fastest and most effective ways to uplift your own vibration.
These are just a few of the ways to take care of yourself now, and always.
I’m not one for predictions, but I know this will change. Things always change. Sometimes the road is smooth and sometimes it’s rough. When good times shift and challenging times come, it’s easy to wonder what’s wrong, but this is just the nature of incarnation. Nothing lasts forever. That’s life on Earth, and here we are.
Let’s keep moving, with self-care in place, toward sunnier times ahead.
